  • The mechanism has the necessary accessories to be able to install it both on the wall and on the ceiling, as you prefer.
How to measure the width
  1. Measure the full width of the bay window, from frame to frame.
  2. The resulting measurement measures +10 or +15 cm more on each side.
How to measure the drop
  1. First of all, check that you have at least 30cm of space between the top of the window and the ceiling. It is the necessary space so that the fabric can be folded without hindering the opening of the window. If you don't have that space ask us.
  2. If you are going to place the mechanism on the roof, you must measure from the lower frame of your window to the ceiling and add +30cm of margin.
  3. If you are going to place the mechanism on the wall, you must measure the window vertically (frames included) and add +60cm.
  • We recommend whenever possible the mechanism on the ceiling. In this way it will be easy for you to overcome the obstacles that protrude from the wall.
  • However, the mechanism has the necessary accessories to be able to install it both on the wall and on the ceiling. You could also fix it to the wall with a square so that it protrudes.
How to measure the width
  1. Measure the full width of the bay window, from frame to frame. If you have a blind, measure the width of the drawer instead.
  2. To the resulting measurement add +15 cm more to each side.

Your blind package made by hand and made to measure, with high quality materials

Packet blinds are a type of folding blinds without metal rods whose main characteristic is that they fold in a curved way when picked up or raised by means of a rope mechanism.

This kind of folding fabric blind is ideal for generating a cozy and natural atmosphere with a rustic and natural touch.

To achieve distinguished fold of the blind package soft and light fabrics are used that can be folded easily and show a harmonious and elegant fall.

Therefore it is recommended to use sheer fabric to make package blinds. What also allows them to let light in and not subtract light from the space, while protecting our privacy.

Made with the bestseller "Yarner", a sheer curtain with a rustic appearance

In making this blind we use the translucent fabric «Yarner» of Les Creations de La Maison. Presented in 10 soft, natural colors.

A fabric that is characterized by its characteristic weave, effect stropicciate (wrinkled) that gives it an attractive rustic and natural appearance, similar to linen.

Dress up your space with the elegant folds of the paqueto blind

Depending on the width of the blind, it is necessary to increase the number of ropes necessary to raise the fabric. In turn, the more strings, the more folds, one of the unmistakable characteristics of the blind package.

This is the correspondence between the width of the fabric, the cords and the number of folds:

  • 1 Fold (we used 2 ropes) up to 125cm wide
  • 2 Pleats (3 ropes) from 125cm to 200cm
  • 3 Pleats (4 ropes) from 200cm to 300cm
  • 4 Pleats (5 strings) from 275cm to 300cm.

Includes the mechanism, installable on the ceiling or wall

The blind is delivered ready for installation on the ceiling or wall, depending on your preferences.

The lifting mechanism is actuated with a chain, made of durable material in a discreet white. You can also choose which side you prefer the chain.

To wash the fabric, it can be easily separated from the mechanism by means of a velcro strap.

Dowels or screws are not included, since it is convenient to choose them depending on whether the wall or ceiling is made of plasterboard, brick, concrete, etc.

The installation of the package blind is simple, on the ceiling or on the wall, you can do it in just a few minutes.

Handmade and tailored

The blind is made by local artisans in the north of Spain. We ship throughout Europe.
